Here is a student work, one of those that I revisit from time to time, often to find considerable substance. It is gratifying to think I might have started out with something to offer. It is full of passion, and shows my (and Jerry's) love of the Romantic repertoire. Paganini, Bruch, Mendelssohn, and you have the genesis of this piece, if not its slightly more modern style. It has apparently been performed
by a young violinist from Malaysia with whom I have been an email correspondent for
some time, but I have no recording as yet.
