Duration: about 3 minutes

Here is a student work, one of those that I revisit from time to time, often to find considerable substance. It is gratifying to think I might have started out with something to offer. It is full of passion, and shows my (and Jerry's) love of the Romantic repertoire. He and I used to play duets and piano/violin sonatas in our high school days (that was a long time ago - I'm writing this in 2015!). Think

Paganini, Bruch, Mendelssohn, and you have the genesis of this piece, if not its slightly more modern style. It has apparently been performed by a young violinist from Malaysia with whom I have been an email correspondent for some time, but I have no recording as yet.

If you are curious and want to try it out, please feel free to download the partial score offered here (2 pages of 4) by clicking in the box. If it intrigues you and you want the full score, please send me an email (below). My only requirement is that you let me know of any performances so that I can keep this website up-to-date. I have this plea on every page of this website, but no one ever informs me. Oh well... perhaps I'm famous in Malaysia.
